Maneepin Phromsuthirak

Abstract

Both the Thais and Zhuangs in Guangxi Province of China have the same methods in naming places : after geographical characteristics of the places; settlements and occupations of the landowners; animals and plants commonly found in the regions; local legends or folktales; and beliefs.
